COVID-19 UPDATE

The Australian Prototype Series, like all forms of motorsport around the world is being affected by the COVID-19 crisis.

The remaining 4 rounds has originally been scheduled to run with what is now known as the Motorsport Australia Championships (previously Shannons Nationals).

With restrictions now in place on people’s movements around the country, it is anticipated there will be a significant impact on the 2020 series.

Round 2 of our series has previously been scheduled at Winton Raceway – May 1-3, however this is looking increasingly unlikely to take place.

Whilst there has still been no official statement from Motorsport Australia, our series is preparing for an anticipated postponement of this event for later in the year. Accordingly, this would result in The Bend Motorsport Park becoming the next round of the series at this stage.

Be assured, we will continue to update all interested parties with official updates as we receive them from relevant stakeholders
