Nothing has topped that this year, with Jason Makris & Phil Hughes taking their first wins of the season at Round 3 of the Australian Prototype Series, putting stop to John Paul Drake’s winning streak.
Phil Hughes took out Race 1 in his Radical SR8.
Races 2 & 3 saw Jason Makris on the attack from the Radical of Phil as he took the lead heading into the closing stages of both races.
The Revolution A1-SC500 also made its APS debut. It may be a national race weekend, but the Revolution team was able to achieve vital laps of testing and resolved a minor electrical issue that plagued their weekend's pace.
We also saw the Radical SR3 class battle it out with Mark Brame taking the victory this weekend.
